Global experts gathered for education, innovation, and collaboration at exocad’s flagship event

The two day meeting brought together dental professionals from across the laboratory and clinical spectrum under the inspiring motto “Calling all heroes.”
Insights 2026 welcomed an international audience, offering a high value educational experience focused on multidisciplinary exchange, practical learning and connection.

Insights 2026 featured a high caliber lineup of internationally renowned speakers from across the laboratory and clinical spectrum. Experts from around the globe shared practical, future focused perspectives on interdisciplinary workflows, esthetics, communication driven treatment concepts, and the evolving digital patient. The program included contributions from Dr. Alexis Ioannidis (Switzerland), Caroline Kirkpatrick (Scotland), Dr. Zhiqiang Luo (China/USA), Seth Potter (Canada), Prof. Dr. Marco Tallarico (Italy), Lukas Wichnalek (Germany/Mexico), and Michaela Sehnert (Germany), highlighting collaborative approaches across lab and clinical environments.
Exclusive Diamond partner sessions further enriched the agenda, featuring Dr. Christian Coachman (Brazil) and his presentation on the 7 steps towards modern dentistry. A dedicated session about ART (Advanced Restorative Treatment) with experts from IDI Evolution (Italy) emphasized how digital innovation and multidisciplinary collaboration can drive predictable outcomes and how exocad ART can help to enhance patient treatment.
The program also featured exocad-led sessions with exocad management, including a “What’s new, what’s next” session with exocad CEO Tillmann Steinbrecher, CTO Maik Gerth, CCO Novica Savic, and Senior Product Marketing Manager Nilou Sotouhi, alongside in-depth lab sessions led by exocad application specialists, offering attendees practical insights into workflows, innovation, and the future of digital dentistry.
Innovation expo and partner engagement
A central highlight of Insights 2026 was the innovation expo, where leading industry partners showcased the latest materials, equipment, and CAD/CAM solutions. Diamond, Platinum, and Gold partners also hosted dedicated sessions to share clinical cases, product updates, and integrated workflows. Complementing the main stage program, 60 targeted breakout sessions allowed dental technicians and clinicians to dive deeper into workflow optimization, practical applications, and real world use cases with exocad software solutions.
Community and global exchange
Beyond the educational program, Insights 2026 emphasized connection and exchange. Attendees networked with peers, partners, and exocad experts throughout the event, including the “exoGlam night” celebration, the “Women in dentistry” lunch, and other special event activities. exocad also supported a charitable initiative during the event with special exocad T-shirts and merchandise sold to benefit a dental nonprofit organization and introduced its new spotlight country concept. The initiative debuted with China, reflecting exocad’s commitment to global connection, knowledge exchange and cross-border collaboration in digital dentistry.
