The Elective Assembly, which met in the picturesque setting of the Cantina Lantieri de Paratico in Franciacorta, mapped out the course for the next two years. The twentieth edition of the UNIDI Sector Analysis was also celebrated.
Milan, June 15, 2026 – On June 12, the Elective Assembly of UNIDI (Italian Dental Industries Association) took place, officially renewing the Board of Directors for the 2026-2028 biennium. The meeting marked an important moment of transition and continuity for the association that represents the excellence of the Italian dental industry.
Gianfranco Berrutti was elected as the new President of UNIDI , succeeding Fabio Velotti, to whom the Assembly expressed heartfelt thanks for his hard work and the leadership demonstrated during his mandate. The renewal of positions also saw Andrea Lemma join the Board, taking over from outgoing board member Mario Zearo, who was warmly thanked by the members for his valuable contribution over the years.
The newly elected President, Gianfranco Berrutti, immediately outlined the goals of his mandate. "It is a great honor for me to take the helm of UNIDI at such a dynamic time for our sector. I take over the baton from Fabio Velotti with the commitment to continue the path of promoting Italian dental excellence, both nationally and internationally. Our focus will be on guiding member companies through market challenges, consolidating UNIDI's role as an institutional and strategic benchmark for the entire industry."
Echoing the President's words, the Director of UNIDI, Linda Sanin, emphasized the importance of association cohesion and the services offered to members. "Entering the new two-year period with a renewed team gives us a strong driving boost. The UNIDI structure is ready to support President Berrutti and the new Board with increasingly targeted, high-value services. We will continue to work to provide our companies with the necessary tools to compete in global markets, starting precisely from the solidity of data and market knowledge."
Following the private session of the Assembly dedicated to voting, the day continued with a moment of great strategic relevance: the official presentation of the UNIDI Sector Analysis, which this year reached the milestone of its twentieth edition.
The study, which over the years has become an indispensable guide for understanding trends and performance within the Italian dental market, was carried out by the research institute Key Stone and presented in detail by Roberto Rosso and Simone Gala. The resulting data offered an in-depth overview of the sector's health, highlighting future development guidelines spanning the digitalization of clinical workflows and shifting consumption patterns in dental practices and laboratories.
With the new Board of Directors and the confirmation of excellent analytical tools, UNIDI looks forward to the 2026-2028 biennium, confirming its central role in the country's industrial landscape.
